It comes with a raft of features, including a dedicated button that allows you to tap into your phone's voice assistant (even if your phone is in another room). If you're looking for the best portable Bose speaker, grab one of these.

This might be the smallest and most affordable speaker in Bose's multi-room range, but we think it's also the best. Considering that it's the size of a carton of juice, the detailed, spacious sound - underpinned by deep, rich bass - is pretty darn impressive.

If you're looking for the best Bose speaker that also doubles as a Dolby Atmos soundbar, the Smart Soundbar 900 is just the job. Its wraparound metal grille and polished, impact-resistant tempered glass top give it a refined look while nine channels of amplification ensure plenty of oomph.

The 'big daddy' of the SoundTouch speakers is undeniably chunky, but impresses with it's dynamic sonic ability. Bass is punchy and Bose's 'Waveguide' technology does a great job optimising the performance of the drivers, creating a big, room-filling sound.

Not the best for a classic, quality, hi-fi-type sound but the Bose Home Speaker 300 will certainly add some beef to your listening. Part of the wider Bose smart speaker family, it's voice-enabled through both Alexa and Google Assistant and can be used as a unit of a Bose multi-room set-up too. It also supports AirPlay 2.

Here at What Hi-Fi? we review hundreds of products every year, including no small amount of speakers of all shapes, sizes and types. So how do we come to our review verdicts? And why can you trust them?

The What Hi-Fi? team has more than 100 years experience of reviewing, testing and writing about consumer electronics. We have state-of-the-art testing facilities in London and Bath, where our team of expert reviewers do all our in-house testing. This gives us complete control over the testing process, ensuring consistency. We always ensure we spend plenty of time with the speakers, trying them with different electronics, in different positions and with different music.

We've currently tested 10 Bose speakers. Bose is a well-known audio equipment company that also sells headphones, soundbars, and home audio systems. If you're looking for the best Bose Bluetooth speaker, they make speakers for a wide range of uses, including smart home speakers and waterproof speakers that you can use outdoors.

The Bose Home Speaker 500 is the best Bose speaker we've tested. This premium home speaker offers versatile performance, making it a great choice for many different listeners. With built-in support for Google Assistant and Alexa, you can control it with your voice, so you can switch tracks while washing dishes or folding laundry with ease. The speaker doesn't have trouble hearing your commands, even if you're far away or in a noisy environment. The LED screen on the front of the device lets you monitor the track you're listening to and other adjustments, which is nice, too.

This speaker reproduces dialogue in podcasts and audiobooks with clarity and offers an accurate reproduction of voices and lead instruments in your music. Unfortunately, compared to the Bose Home Speaker 500, you don't have any tools to adjust its sound. However, you might not feel that you need it, given its balanced sound out-of-the-box. There's no built-in voice assistant support, but you can use voice assistants from your paired smartphone, which is nice. Overall, it's the best Bose portable speaker we've tested.

The Bose SoundLink Flex is the best Bose Bluetooth speaker available in the budget range. It's a portable speaker that's sold in several different colors with a sturdy design that's great for taking your favorite tunes with you on the go. On your next trip outdoors, use the built-in strap to attach the speaker to your bag or backpack. It's rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, and the manufacturer says that it can withstand some falls to the floor. It lasts over seven hours off a single charge, so you can keep listening all day long.

Sonos and Bose are similar audio manufacturers that mainly produce high-end speakers with built-in smart capabilities. If you already own products in their respective ecosystems, their speakers are designed for easy compatibility, so you can spread music throughout your whole home. You can also find a few models at more budget-friendly price points with outdoor-oriented designs. You'll find Bluetooth compatibility with Bose, while Sonos tends to operate over Wi-Fi.

JBL is another well-known speaker manufacturer that offers a wider range of devices compared to Bose. With JBL, you'll find more budget-friendly models with outdoor-ready designs, as well as some high-end party speakers for big events. That said, JBL's speakers aren't as well-designed as Bose's, and they tend to lack built-in voice assistant capabilities.

Ultimate Ears produces outdoor-geared speakers that are usually available at wallet-friendly price points. With ratings for dust and water resistance, as well as the ability to float in water, some Ultimate Ears devices are better suited to the outdoors than the sleek, home-friendly speakers produced by Bose. That said, Bose's speakers are generally better built, and their smart features offer additional support for voice assistants, for example.

Overall, Bose makes a large selection of speakers that can please many different listeners, including smart speakers, portable Bluetooth speakers, and speakers for musicians. Their speakers are usually Bluetooth-compatible and offer balanced sound profiles out-of-the-box, but lack premium sound customization features like graphic EQs or room correction features. They also may have to downmix stereo content into mono to play it, which isn't very immersive-sounding. You can use them with voice assistants, either from a paired device or via built-in support.

Bose is a well-known brand that offers many different types of speakers; depending on your listening habits, you may prefer one over the others. They make well-built Bluetooth speakers with a balanced and neutral sound out-of-the-box, and their smart speakers come with built-in voice assistant support. However, their models tend to lack extra sound customization options.

Looking for some cheap Bose speaker deals? Whether you're firmly in the audiophile camp or just a casual listen, we're here to help you save some cash on the latest products from the legendary audio brand. In this article, you'll find a range of price comparisons aiming to surface the very best Bose speaker deals from our favorite retailers. We've separated everything out into models just down below, so if you've got a particular Bose speaker price in mind, you'll be able to find it there.

Bose speaker sales have gone through the roof thanks to its ever-growing selection of portable speakers, wireless speakers, and smart speakers: what was once an audio brand mainly for people with serious bucks has now broadened its appeal with Bose speaker prices that can suit every budget. With the latest Bose Home speaker selection introducing native smart assistant support, Bose Speakers offer plenty of extra value alongside great sound quality.

Bose speaker sales and deals can be few and far between: this is a brand with products that tend to retain their value, with some speakers actually costing more on the second-hand market than they did new. That said, price cuts can crop up all year round and especially around big retail events like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day.

Of course, this latest model does come with a price tag to match its recency, though you'll still find it available for less than its direct competitor, the Sonos Move. You're getting bigger, better audio quality than the Revolve Plus, with remarkably easy smart assistant integration to boot. Portable speakers no longer have to settle for inferior audio quality, and the Bose Portable Home Speaker proves you can have it all - for a price.

The Bose Home Speaker 300 introduces the smart assistant to the world of Bose speakers, and it does so with sophistication. The compact smart speaker offers a minimalist design that won't take up the space of the previous 500 model, but loses some of the audio quality to make up for a cheaper price point. That said, if you're after a smart speaker with higher than average audio quality and an excellent microphone pickup system, you won't be disappointed with the Home Speaker 300.

It's a cheap Bose speaker at its core, designed for a non-audiophile audience who weren't too thrilled about paying $350 / 350 for Bose quality speakers with their Alexa or Google Assistant experience. These speakers fetch around $200 / 200 - $250 / 250 today. That's still a considerable amount, and one that perhaps warrants another look at the slightly older, more sophisticated model, or the newer portable version.

Overall, you're essentially paying a little more for a boost in audio quality. There aren't any extra features you'll be missing out on by picking up the cheaper model, but there's plenty of excellent listening to be had with the Plus. There's a whole load of tech stuffed inside both of these Bose speakers, so you're guaranteed a fantastic listening experience either way. If there's a particularly good SoundLink Revolve Plus deal, though, we'd recommend springing a little more.
